Event Details

We have the pleasure to invite you to the Nairobi Region Moran Geography Contest and Symposium to be held on Saturday 16th May, 2026 at Pangani Girls School as from 8.00a.m.

You are therefore requested to take note of the following:-

1. Carry a set of seven to ten students for both Senior and Junior entry.

2. You can enter as many sets as you wish in each category.

3. Both the senior and junior entry will cover paper one and two topics. Junior entry will cover Form one, two and three topics (find attached topics below).

4. For each set you will be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Kshs. 3,000/= (Three thousand only).

5. Form fours will register for senior while Form three for junior.

6. Carry packed lunch for the day.

7. Each school to come with at least two teachers to participate in the marking and invigilation of the exam.

8. Carry a KIPKABUS MAP for each student participating in the contest.

9. All teachers and schools will be given certificate of participation.

10. Certificates, textbooks and trophies will be awarded to the winning students and schools.

4. Earth movement and Vulcanicity.

5. Oceans, seas and their coast.

6. Statistical methods and agriculture.

7. Land reclamation and rehabilitation.

8. Fishing.

9. Energy

Junior

1. Map work (Kipkabus Map).

3. Weather

4. Earthquake.

5. Folding

6. Vegetation.

7. Forestry.

8. Weathering and mass wasting.

9. Hydrological cycle and rivers.
