Maseno School is pleased to invite your school for Science Contest that will be held on Sunday 31st May from 7.30 am in Maseno School. The contest will encompass junior category for form threes and senior category for form fours. A school may register teams in both categories. A team comprises of ten students. Registration fee of Khs. 3000 per set will be charged. There will be awards to students with outstanding performance in various categories. The setting scope for each subject and category will be as shown below;

BIOLOGY

• Junior category: Ecology.

• Senior category: Evolution.

CHEMISTRY

• Junior category: End of The mole.

• Senior category: Reaction rates and reversible reactions.

PHYSICS

• Junior category: Newton’s laws of motion

• Senior category: Electromagnetic Induction

A school can present as many teams as possible. A team comprises of ten students and can only participate in one subject. Students will be addressed by senior examiners on current trends in each subject. Participating schools are advised to carry packed lunch for students.
